Catvera Suction Cup Window Cat Hammock

My kitty is a big kitty and she just doesn't fit in regular cat beds, easily. She found a box that she loves but the dog just keeps chewing up the box. This bed was to replace the box and she likes it. She can stretch out and raise her head (seasonal allergies and cats will only breath thru their noses) while sleeping. So, my stuffy nose cat is now comfy and the dog isn't chewing up the bed (yet). A win-win for me.

Our nine pound cat kept climbing into the window well and scratching the trim while climbing. This window seat was just what we needed. Instead of climbing, he can jump right up to the seat. The suction so far has held. The seat can be raised which is nice if you want to close curtains or blinds over it. It was easy to put together and the covering comes off to wash it. We considered buying another window seat instead of this one but decided on this one because there are no wires holding the seat up. It was worth the money for us.

My cats love this window hammock! I even went so far as to buy a bird feeder and put it about 10 foot away from the window. The birds are unaware of the cats, but the cats get to watch bird TV all day. This is sturdy too! One of our cats weighs about 10 pounds, when she musters the strength to jump up on the hammock, it holds her and hasn't come apart or come away from the window. This was a great purchase!

This hammock is made of good quality materials. It is not cheap or flimsy. There is a 1 or 1 1/2 inch strap, rather than string that holds the hammock. The hammock itself is made of thick canvas type material. There are two pairs of suction cups. Top and bottom are different. I was extremely impressed with the suction power, as I was skeptical about good suction power. I am interested in seeing suction power during a Midwest winter or condensation forming on the window.

I've been looking to get something like this for my cat. Are two babies just turned a year old and they are very large cats 20 £ and 15.5 pounds they love to cuddle together so I knew they would both get on this thing at the same time, and I really didn't think it was going to hold up with that much weight, but absolutely does and they are in Kitty heaven. Very easy to put together follow the instructions and had it up in 10 minutes.
