The variety of balls in this collection would be perfect. Our boy definitely prefers the smooth ones. He'll play catch endlessly, bringing the balls back and dropping them at our feet. He carries the balls around at other times leaving them in his favorite places--in his bed, near his catfood, etc.

I have bought quacking ducks and all kinds of interactive toys and nothing. These balls are the only thing she plays with all the time. They are felt material and easy for her to grab and hold. She likes to carry them around the house too. The bigger sizes are great since they don't get lost under the couch.

My cat loves chasing these jingly balls. They are durable. I keep them in an old cookie tin with catnip and switch them out every few weeks. I gave one to a friend and her senior 13 year old cat loves it. I highly recommend these toys, so much value for the price.

These balls contain "rattles" rather than bells, despite what the description and people's reviews say. I'm not complaining, however. I don't know if our cats and foster kittens care what sound the balls make. These balls were recommended to us by a guy who has two cats, one of which LOVES the smallest of these balls and will play fetch with it and carry it around the apartment. Our foster kittens enjoy them, but our cats haven't shown much interest yet. As with any toy, some pets will love them, some will like them, and some won't care. Don't give up on a toy just because your pet doesn't like it immediately. They can ignore a toy forever and suddenly decide they love it. (The rattles, by the way, are probably something like a BB inside something like a ping pong ball. And they roll around inside rather than bounce around, if that gives you any idea what the sound is like.)
